Maui Tropical Soaps makes two types of handmade soap - cold process and glycerin. Both varieties offer superior cleansing and rinse off properties, while providing rich lather and gentle moisturizing. These soaps are ideal for full body use, including facial cleansing and for shampooing your hair. Our unique formulas leave your hair shiny with far less dryness than most commercial shampoos and absolutely no residue! Your hair will be soft and manageable, even without added conditioning.
Our cold process, pure vegetable soaps contain the same basic ingredients: saponified coconut, palm, soy, olive, kukui nut and macadamia nut oils and grapefruit seed extract as a natural preservative. To this basic recipe, we add dried herbs, organic grains or crushed botanicals and pure essential oils or exotic tropical fragrance oils to create the various bars available on this website.
These soaps are very rich and emollient, moisturizing your skin while producing a thick, silky lather. Our soaps rinse completely clean, leaving no film on your skin, only a wonderful, light fragrance. These bars are generally opaque in appearance with natural coloration.
