An international human rights advocate, MASUDA SULTAN works with a number of organizations, including Women for Afghan Women and The Initiative for Inclusive Security. She is on the advisory boards of the Business Council for Peace and Arzu Rugs. MASUDA produced and narrated From Ground Zero to Ground Zero, the first documentary on Afghan civilian casualties to air on US television, later shown in Europe, Canada and Japan. She has appeared on Oprah, PBS, CNN, and ABC News and has been interviewed by the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Los Angeles Times. MASUDA is a frequent guest speaker internationally and in the U.S., and has spoken at Harvard, NYU, the Council on Foreign Relations, and on Capitol Hill. She has a master’s degree in public administration from the JFK School at Harvard University, where she helped found the Muslim Students Caucus.
