Masterpiece Mysteries is a relatively new name for a group that has been dishing up deadly interactive fare for nearly twenty years. Founded by award-winning playwright C.A. Sperry, originally for commission by non-profits and private parties, the murderous undertaking has grown into a full-service mystery company.
In addition to work in film, video, and music, Sperry is proud to have played a pivotal role in the marketing and longevity of Los Angeles' longest running smash hit play, TAMARA, the environmental theater breakout production that ran for 10 consecutive years in Hollywood, as well as in New York and around the world (and was revived in Canada in 2003 ).
In 1995 she realized her passion for real-space story-telling with the formation of Front & Centre Coincidental Theatrical Productions which produced the popular local play followed on foot, Mrs. Boston's Tea Party and the groundbreaking simultaneous play STAGES (OnStage, OffStage, BackStage). At present Sperry devotes much of her time to philanthropic concerns (plus a few small businesses) and, as a result, has a long list of projects on the drawing board as well as a completed manuscript for her first novel awaiting final edit as time allows.
