Description
Maris Farms, in it's tenth year of operation, is located in scenic east Pierce County about 3 miles west of Buckley, Washington. There are actually two locations - one for the raspberry u-pick farm and the other for the pumpkin patch, corn maze and haunted woods.
The raspberry farm is located at 25010 112th St E., and has a picturesque view of beautiful Mount Rainier! There you'll find delicious raspberries on about 5 of that location's 30 acres. Locals and many out-of-towners travel to the farm during the late summer months to buy flats or 1/2 flats. For your convenience, we've included driving directions to the raspberry fields, and more information on getting some delicious raspberries for yourself! The season is open from early to mid July to about the first week in August.
The pumpkin patch and it's traditional free hayride is about 3 miles north of the raspberry farm, at 24713 Sumner-Buckley Highway. It is the site of the family's former dairy farm. One of the feature attractions at the farm is the extensive corn maze, open each October. Come test your whits and take a little hike through the many trails and designs carved into the cornfield. The words "MARIS FARMS" and "KMPS 94.1" are also etched into the 10-foot tall stalks.
