Description
ARCO POLO LAND is a one hundred acre camping and trailering resort located on Route 13 in Cavendish. The Green Gables Golf Course is across the road. Cavendish Beach is one mile from the entrance and the sand dunes can be seen from the site. There are a total of 500 sites. Two hundred and forty-two are serviced with water, electrical, and sewer hookups and 237 with water and electricity. Some of the sites with three-way hookups have 30 amp electrical services and are pull-through sites. The sites are spacious with no crowding, they are located in the trees as well as in the open, around the periphery of four large fields. The open areas are mowed, with the central portions of the field allotted as play areas. Playground equipment is provided. The five washrooms are large and clean with flush toilets, hot and cold water and showers.
