Description

The Marc Maron Show is a nightly Los Angeles variety show, complete with live comedy, in-studio announcers, and one-on-one interviews. It has a laid-back performance and interview style reminiscent of “The Late Show with David Letterman” or “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” with an emphasis on culture and comedy. The Marc Maron Show broadcasts live from 10pm to Midnight PST from the KTLK AM 1150 studios in Burbank, California.

Marc Maron is a standup comic, actor, and writer who has appeared in countless clubs, in film, and off-Broadway and is the author of The Jerusalem Syndrome (based on his one-man show). After co-hosting "Morning Sedition" on Air America Radio, he’s back on the airwaves in the evenings, Monday through Friday.

Engaging his audience as a storyteller, Marc is known for his incisive cultural and political commentary, mystical ruminations, and neurotic insights into human nature. Born in New Jersey and raised in Albuquerque, NM, Marc started his comedy career in the late 1980s in Hollywood, California, as a doorman at the famed standup venue The Comedy Store. He has since lived in Boston, San Francisco, and New York City, where he co-founded possibly the first alternative comedy event, "Eating It", with friend and comedy star Janeane Garafalo at the Luna Lounge.
