Map Bureau was active from 2001 to 2006, but is now dissolved. The company was an early provider of mapping technology for the web. Our pointMapper widget allowed people to do their own mapping via a Javascript API years before the advent of Google Maps, or the Yahoo and Microsoft API-enabled mapping platforms.
