- Model United Nations, abbreviated as MUN, is an academic replica of the United Nations which aims at educating the participants about various countries, globalization, effective communication and multilateral diplomacy. In Model UN, students take roles of foreign diplomats and participate in a simulated session of an inter governmental organization(IGO). The participants have to research a particular country, take on roles as diplomats, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult and then develop solutions and pass resolutions to world problems.
