Description
Most members live in the South Manchester/NE Cheshire area, but people come from much further afield and all are welcome.
We are not a dating club, (although naturally, many members have paired off over the years and can continue to enjoy membership if they wish) but a place where you’ll find like minded friends to chat and laugh with over a drink and to join for meals, parties, theatre, sports, dances, walking, book club etc. plus weekends away and other holidays. In fact, the members run the club for themselves and we are always interested in new ideas for events and activities
We welcome you to join us, at our regular Thursday evening drop in sessions, or at an event. If you enjoy walking, that’s a good first introduction to a number of members in a relaxed way. You’ll be made very welcome and we hope you’ll want to try two or three events, and eventually decide to join the group. The subscription, to cover running expenses, is modest. From the latest bi-monthly Newsletter, you’ll get an idea of some of what we do together, although there are other ad hoc things which happen too.
