About MadisOnCurlingClub.com

The roots of the Madison Curling Club date back to 1921, when some hearty University of Wisconsin Professors and Madisonians created a “sheet” of ice under the UW stadium bleachers at Camp Randall. These early curlers each had their own set of stones and therefore, uniform size and performance of the stones was virtually nonexistent. The Madison Curling Club was organized in 1931 and a building was erected on the northeast corner of Burr Jones recreational field in Madison.
