Mr. K. E. MacBeath, founder of MacBeath Hardwood, Co. , established a thriving hardwood business in the early 1950's, at our current Berkeley location. As the company grew, MacBeath Hardwood Co., has expanded to our present size of five locations- San Francisco (main office), Berkeley, Salt Lake City, and Edinburgh, Indiana.
The Edinburgh location is our mother yard, which feeds each location with various specie of hardwood lumber. Edinburgh has a kiln drying capacity of 300,000 board feet with an inventory of lumber over 5 million board feet. Lumber grading, custom millwork, surfacing and ripping are also functions of our Edinburgh yard.
MacBeath Hardwood distribution yards located in Berkeley, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City cater to the local customers in each geographic area. All distribution locations deliver on their own fleet of trucks to assure you, the customer, quality service and timely delivery to meet your needs.
