Description
I've been in business as a Web designer/developer since 1998, having previously worked in the publishing field--research and information retrieval for Newsweek and Encyclopaedia Britannica--and serving now also as a reference librarian at Fashion Institute of Technology. A life-long interest in design, supplemented by coursework in programming and graphics, plus an anthropology degree from Grinnell College and a library degree from Rutgers University, led to a field I'm passionate about--the aesthetic and the technical sides of Web design.
Software: FrontPage 2002 (and 2000), Photoshop 7 (with ImageReady), Illustrator 9, Flash 4, Office XP, and many other specialized graphics, video, and compatibility-testing programs. Hardware: scanner, digital camera.
