Circle of Hope Lymphedema Foundation, Inc. provides resources, information and support to lymphedema patients -- and promotes awareness and research of the disease.
Description
Founded by Jeanne B. Tassis in 1999, the Circle of Hope Lymphedema Foundation, Inc, is an organization dedicated to promoting education, awareness, research, assistance, and support to lymphedema patients and their doctors. This foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The following activities are planned to be carried out through the Corporation's operations:
Provide educational seminars and/or clinics to the public community addressing issues related to the diagnosis, treatment and medical research of the disease Lymphedema.
Create and maintain an Advisory Committee and membership of persons possessing special knowledge, training and expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of the disease Lymphedema.
