- LUXEESSENTIALS was established in 2005, as a result of searching for a relief for my extremely dry skin, something I’ve struggled with from a young age . For many years, I’ve tried creams and lotions recommended by family, friends and doctors and nothing worked. I began to research ingredients used in those same creams and lotions, and to my dismay, the ingredients weren’t very pleasant, and that’s putting it lightly. I started to seek a more holistic approach. I started to think of my grandmother, who I lived with during my early childhood years. I thought of those early childhood memories of my grandmother mixing up remedies for my ailments when I was sick using ingredients from her garden in her back yard. I began to think the same should be done for skin care and from that concept my first body butter was created, more importantly it worked better than anything else I’ve ever tried.
