- Longacres Farm , established in 1976, is a horse back riding school nestled in the hills around Eugene Oregon. We have devoted ourselves to the care and preservation of horses and other animal friends as well as teaching communication and riding skills to children and adults. Because we have spent the last 30 years raising, feeding, training and maintaining our herd of older horses and other farm animals we have acquired a great deal of first-hand knowledge and experience. Since many aspects of farming and small animal care go hand-in-hand with a horse farm we eventually branched out to include other beloved small beasts such as cats and dogs.
