I am very pleased to welcome you to the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Local Resilience Forum (LRF) website. The LRF was formed in January 2005 as a consequence of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, and is based on the Police Force areas. During 2007 we carried out a comprehensive review into the way in which the LRF was structured. This brought about a change to our management strategy and the way in which contingency planning activities are co-ordinated.
