Hello!
My name is Rachelle Draney. Thank you for visiting my site. Why did I start Little Chickadee Crafts? That's simple. I love to do crafts. I always have. My mother says when I was very young I followed her around asking, "will you please help me sew this?" My favorite thing to make then was dolls.
I bought my first sewing machine at a garage sale when I was nine years old and was selling my handmade items at local craft fairs when I was twelve and thirteen years old. By that time I had also started making teddy bears and other stuffed animals, some of which were my own designs.
Later, I worked at craft stores and learned and experimented with lots of different materials and techniques. I also taught many craft classes to both children and adults.
