- I have long been engaged in the technical and aesthetics facets of still photography. I am a professor in biomedical imaging and develop new imaging and image processing tools. This choice of profession was a natural extension of my engagement with nonscientific photography from early youth. Income from freelance photography, in fact, paid some of the bills while I pursued my studies.
