- I’ve pursued many interests over the course of my life and been involved in many endeavors, from the Civil Rights Movement of the early 1960s to the launching of the first Earth Day in New York City in 1970, to involvement with the arts as director of an international arts society, a university art professor and owner of a small art publishing company, to fighting for the economic rights of the elderly. I have launched this site in order to share some of my many interests, concerns, insights and passions.
