Alison is the owner of Life Essentials, a company that offers retreats, workshops, individual coaching and group coaching. She also owns, The Dissertation Coach, a business dedicated to helping graduate students earn doctoral degrees. Alison has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor’s in psychology from Cornell University. She has received training from the Coaches Training Institute.
