Liadis Travel's philosophy is to have the agents experience as many of the destinations around the world as possible so that they have a first-hand knowledge of the places they are selling. Education, whether in the form of a seminar, agent familiarization trip, ship inspection, or specialist designation program, is of utmost importance in keeping the consultants up-to-date in the ever-changing world of travel. Five of our travel consultants have completed the Certified Travel Counselor program from ICTA, designating them CTC's. This designation may only be earned by travel professionals who have been in the travel field for 5 years or more.
Vacation.com is a nationwide network of over 10,000 travel agencies featuring more than 50,000 agents dedicated to providing consumers with the finest value in vacation packages, cruises, tours and all types of leisure travel services.
ICTA is a non-profit organization that specializes in travel industry education. There are educational programs for people in the travel industry enabling them to earn professional designations, such as Certified Travel Associate (CTA), Certified Travel Consultant (CTC), or various Destination Specialists (DS). They also sponsor educational trips around the world that provide travel professionals with "on hands" destination knowledge.
