Lesa Nelms Wallpapering started in 1984 in Hinesville, Georgia, just outside the back gate of Ft. Stewart, the army base Gen. Norman Swartzkopff was attached to before and during the start of Desert Storm. I was lucky enough to be able to paper the Generals quarters during that time. I stayed in Hinesville until my Husband retired. From there we travelled a bit and then went north for a couple years. Wallpaper in the Detroit area always means at least a 45 minute drive! On ice! Back south! We've been in the Naples/Ft. Myers, Florida area ever since.
Doing business in Southwest Florida has been a joy! Some of the most beautiful views of the Gulf happen just where I need to set my glueing table--the screened lanai.
I have been very lucky, all of my clients have been wonderful. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best decorators and with some of the most unusual products. I have put wallpaper or something similar on just about everything- from suede on doors to canvas on tables, to paper on vertical blinds and air vent covers. If you can think of it we can come up with a way. My work is always fun, and sometimes adventurous.
