Legacy Miniatures, with its dedication to providing high quality historically accurate period miniatures at deeply discounted prices is the US branch of UK based Legacy Dolls' Houses. Both Legacy Miniatures and Legacy Dolls' Houses were founded by Jana Riggle, a professional architectural historian.
Jana's interest in historic houses and furnishings has been with her since a very early age and led her to pursue a career in their preservation and research. She holds a MA in Building Archaeology from the University of York, UK as well as BAs in History and Historic Preservation from Mary Washington College, Virginia. Her professional career has been dedicated to the research, interpretation, and preservation of historic buildings in the UK and USA.
During Jana's education and professional career she has been called upon to create scale models of existing buildings to be used as aids in their interpretation. The creation of these historically accurate models introduced Jana to the world of doll houses and awoke a passion for all things miniature.
