- I logged in to play a little Badugi while I ate lunch at my desk today. There were only two other people at the table so it was a pretty easy game. I doubled my money in about ten minutes and then walked away. One of the players was playing every hand and seemed to be playing it completely straight so I was able to win several hands against him. I folded the mediocre ones and played the better than average and best ones. It certainly didn’t hurt that I was getting good cards but I was also able to read the players well since it was a smaller table. There’s the tip of the day…. did you catch it? Fewer players makes Badugi easier to master. It’s not a brilliant realization but it does work!
