- le top, based in Richmond, California, across the bay from beautiful San Francisco, began almost by accident. Paul Lun, whose family had been in the apparel business for over 50 years in Hong Kong and Malaysia, was earning his master's degree in finance in California. Paul's brothers suggested he sell some of the family's novelty T-shirts in the United States, and le top was born! Following the polyester-infused 1970's, the thick interlock, combed-cotton shirts were received with joy! Chris Lun joined her husband in the business, and le top began to evolve into an extensive line of children's clothing.
