Layla's Falafel is a family dream come true. As it was the idea of my wife Layla, it was named after her.
Early in the development stages we realized that providing the quality home made Middle Eastern dishes required more than just Layla and myself. My brother joined this family effort; he keeps the restaurant running smoothly, and is responsible for hiring, training, and retaining our staff.
Our location on Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield was also a good choice. It brought us to the cross roads of Easton, Fairfield, Bridgeport, and Westport and exposing us to a population eager to try new things and quick to reward good food and good service. Our clients know what they are looking for and keep coming back; our following has reached far beyond the immediate geography.
