Avanta Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative. We encourage you to build your savings, manage your finances, and practice sound borrowing activities.
Avanta was chartered in 1949 to serve the employees, members and patrons of the Laurel Cooperative Association and Farmers Union Central Exchange. The purpose of the credit union was to pool member resources (savings) to provide loans to members at reasonable rates of interest.
Today, Avanta serves a wide array of select patron and employee groups throughout Yellowstone, Carbon, Stillwater, Sweet Grass and Golden Valley counties. We are proud to have served the people of Laurel, Red Lodge and the surrounding communities for over 55 years.
