The Study Group is a non-profit research and advocacy organization founded in 1989, focusing on nuclear disarmament, nonproliferation, and environmental protection. We conduct in-depth research regarding the environmental, economic and social consequences of nuclear weapons design and production. We monitor specific U.S. weapons projects. The Study Group serves as an information clearinghouse for the news media, Congress, activists, academics and the general public.
