I'm happy to announce that our new Core switch arrived here Tuesday. Also the new table switches are in. They will be online at this LAN!! LBL has moved to a managed network now with a core switching capacity of 48 GB/s from 16 GB/s. The table switches are in LAG, (Link Aggregation Groups (2 ports)), thus doubling the bandwidth for each table back to the core. All bottlenecks noticed at previous LANs have been rectified. We have also picked up a few sponsors for this party. We have a few more that have said that they will support us for the next ones. We currently have 25 registered gamers with 39 seats remaining for 3/31/07. Everybody please help spread the word and get ready to frag.
