Description
Starting in 1997, a team of portfolio managers and accounting professionals combined their expertise in alternative funds with the know-how of several technology specialists. The outcome was an advantageous option for alternative investment firms to streamline and outsource their operations.
Originally spun off from the alternative investments specialist ATA Research, LAMP Technologies has a lengthy background in the managed futures and hedge fund industries. This experience – derived from the perspective of an investment firm – gives LAMP a unique understanding of the backoffice challenges of fund of funds, CPOs and CTAs. This user-centric perspective continues to power the development of LAMP’s services today.
