In late 1998, Janet Callahan had a vision. She would build an on-line place that showcased Native American art and craft pieces, like those she and her mother made. Being somewhat idealistic, she believed that many people would flock to her site, and purchase the many beautiful items she and other artists would post. But by the end of 2002, Janet had realized there were many problems with this idea.
