Lake Joy Campground is nestled in scenic Southwest Wisconsin, just North of Belmont on the edge of a 60 acre private lake surrounded by nothing but nature itself! This region of Wisconsin was untouched by glaciers which covered much of the state. Therefore, beautiful wildflowers, rolling hills and remnants of ancient prairies await your arrival. Rural but not remote, Lake Joy Campground is located conveniently to several tri-state metropoliten areas. In terms of travel, we are 45 minutes from Dubuque, Iowa; 1 hour from Madison, Wisconsin; 2.5 hours from Milwaukee, Wisconsin and 3.5 hours from Chicago, Illinois.
Lake Joy Campground has been a summer getaway for over 30 years. Our goal is to provide a clean, relaxing and friendly atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy time together.
Lake Joy is located 8 miles South of Mineral Point and 3 miles North of Belmont on Highway 151. Exit East onto Burr Oak Road, turn right onto Bethel Grove Road and go 1/2 mile to the campground entrance sign.
