如计算机时代的很多新事物一样，Lagoo!起源于一个想法，为了方便设计师方便的查找到优秀的网站(这是cnlainfo于2003年1月在ABBS建筑论坛上发布自己收藏的网址的贴子“献上收集到的景观、建筑网站导航”，注：其它网站都是转载于cnlainfo在ABBS发布此贴)，随后变成一种业余爱好，逐渐成了使人全身心投入的一项事业。Lagoo!的创始人cnlainfo ，一个忠实的网络爱好者，于2000年1月筹划自己的网页，并在同年9月建立了自己的个人主页，将其作为记录他们个人对互联网的兴趣的一种方式。并与2004年改版成网址导航网站，由于加入的网址逐渐增多，不便于处理。于是cnlainfo 开始在Lagoo身上花费越来越多的时间。
