96.3 KSCS officially began in February 1970. Prior to that, it was known as "WBAP-FM." Since the beginning, 96.3 KSCS has been dedicated to becoming...and staying The Country Leader.
In 1988, 96.3 KSCS firmed up their commitment to be the best when they hired Terry Dorsey and Mark "Hawkeye" Louis and formed The Dorsey Gang in the Summer of 1988. Since then, country fans across the Metroplex and North Texas have been ridin' with The Dorsey Gang.
From the early days of three-in-a-row country to the present domination as The Country Leader, KSCS has been the favorite country station for Dallas/Fort Worth and beyond.
