Description
As of April 2006, KSA had 123 members of all ages. It's fleet included 40 boats — 37 sailboats and 3 powerboats. While some of our members have impressive sailing experience, no sailing experience is necessary to join.
Anyone who has been sailing knows the pleasure of good company away from the stresses of life on shore. Unfortunately, most also know the discomfort of being stuck on a boat with people around whom one cannot be oneself.
For boat owners, especially of larger craft, the need for a crew is constant while the list of nautically minded friends and acquaintances is short. At the same time, many who have been bitten by the sailing bug are not prepared to sail fearlessly into ownership.
