- Kristie has spent the last three years developing a new mental health program for a non-profit (medically based) in partnership with the Department of Mental Health and Children’s Hospital. She has built the program from scratch and supervised the mental health team as well as the parenting program -providing clinical supervision of graduate school interns from the University of Southern California. She has also worked with UCLA on a pilot project for children who have been exposed to violence CBITS- Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools) funded by NIH and NIMH. Kristie has a varied background in not only psychotherapy but crisis intervention, county social work, family preservation, ADHD and drug and alcohol. She has spoken at a national conference on the subject of depression and has been published in two peer-reviewed journals.
