Description
The beginning of KOWA SEIKI LTD. dates back to June of 1952 in the Shiba-Tamachi district of Tokyo, for the purpose of the manufacturing and sales of machinery and precision tools primarily for use within the automotive industry in Japan.
In November of 1956, KOWA SEIKI established it's first contract with the HONDA MOTOR CO. to manufacture and sell the special tools that were needed by the first HONDA Motorcycle dealers in Japan. To this day HONDA and KOWA SEIKI engineers still meet on an on-going basis for the design and development of special tools for all of HONDA Worldwide products.
In the years to come, KOWA SEIKI's reputation as a supplier of high quality precision hand and measuring tools grew. 1964 marked KOWA SEIKI's recognition by the Japan Automotive Machine Service Equipment Association, and continues to be an important member of this organization.
