- Kelly Hewett has been building homes on the coast of North Carolina most of his life. In 1997 he formed Kelly Hewett Builders, Inc., and since has built many beautiful homes. We believe that quality is more important than quantity; therefore we only build enough homes each year that Kelly himself can supervise. We have an excellent, experienced crew that has been with us for many years, who take part of building our homes from the ground up; as well as many trusted sub-contractors. We don’t "sell our jobs" to the lowest bidder, we use the same people time and time again because we know that we can trust the quality of their work, and they will be there when we need them. We have many home plans available, all of which can be customized to fit your needs. Another option would be to have a custom plan drawn. We can recommend an architect, or you can bring us a plan from wherever you choose.
