Kelkenberg Farm of Akron has been in business doing hayrides and farm tours since 1991. It is a working farm run by Andy and Marilyn Kelkenberg and their four children, Laura, Andrew, Jacob and Catherine. They started out simple but have grown steadily over the years. The farm was originally owned by Andy’s grandparents, Arlene and Aloysis Clasgens. After Marilyn and Andy bought the farm in 1989, a lot of hard work went into the 100-year-old farm house and all of the buildings and barns outside.
