- Keith A. Kaufman completed his Ph.D. training at The Catholic University of America, where his dissertation research involved investigating the effects of a new mindfulness-based treatment for athletes on the performance of archers and golfers. He attended undergraduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he double-majored in Psychology and Exercise and Sport Science, and received the Patrick F. Earey award to the outstanding senior Exercise and Sport Science major. He previously worked as a sport psychology consultant at Catholic University and at Virginia Tech, where he completed his pre-doctoral internship.
