What’s This About, Then?
This is the site of one Jeff Kramer. In the olden days, back when the web was young, this would have been called a Homepage, but it is neither my home, nor a page.
I’m a fellow who lives in Austin, Texas with my wife in a house we bought from the government in the fall of 2004. I have a penchant for things technical, particularly getting things to work in a short timeframe. I’m not a genius code architect or a minutea-attentive detail monger, but I can slap things together in short order and they generally work. I’m especially good at getting things to work when I don’t know that they shouldn’t be able to. I spent a few years working in the ISP business, a few years doing freelance consulting, and after I managed to rope a few other brilliant folks into being my personal slaves (just kidding guys), I’m now part of Polycot.
My passion is travel, and while I’ve now spent more time in Central Texas than anywhere else, I grew up outside of the United States. I’ve been to more than half of the states in the union, and four continents. I’ll put up a timeline of my life as soon as I can find my first passport.
