Jo Ann Mooney has been a Certified Humanist Celebrant since March, 2002. I perform weddings, baby namings, funeral or memorial ceremonies, divorce celebrations and other life passages.
If you are a Humanist, freethinker, agnostic, atheist or just non-religious, I would love to help you design a warm and meaningful non-religious ceremony tailored to your wishes. I can provide sample ceremonies or we can work together to create something entirely new. I am located in the Kansas City area, but will travel to other parts eastern Kansas/western Missouri. My fees are reasonable (with additional charges for extended travel).
I founded the Heartland Humansits (www.heartlandhumanists.org) in 2000 and am currently their president. I am a social psychologist and teach at DeVry University.
