Our Cattery is located in Staten Island, NY (one of the 5 boroughs), about 30 minutes from NYC and 10 minutes from Newark, NJ.
I was always an animal lover and rescued any possible cat or dog from the streets,even when I was a baby. Since I always admired the persian breed, I studied everything possible about them. Health, genetics, grooming..etc..you name it I read it =)
Once I was sure I knew the basics of running a loving and small cattery, I purchased my first lilac point himalayan. In the beginning, it was tough to convince my hubby that I was going to share my life with more babies (though not human *G*). In the end though, he and my kids have always supported my choice and they even help me with the grooming!!
