- I know you've heard this from just about every anime store, but at Kai Animation it's true, we truly love anime. We eat, drink, and sleep this stuff (from our anime coffee cups to our DBZ pillow cases!).
- Back when I was little, I started watching a show called "Speed Racer". It was amazing to me that there was a show where the people had dark hair and eyes just like me. This was in the day where everyone had orange, or yellow colored hair. Hey, I was little, what do you expect? Anyway, I was fascinated. Later on in my teens, my sister and I would watch Robotech and G-Force after school. We were hooked. Life happens, got married, had two beautiful children. My son (he was about 3 or 4) comes to me and wants to find a show for him that he seems really obsessed about. It's none other than Sailor Moon. It's in the genes. I passed it down. How proud was I? Thanks to the kids, we picked up right where I left off.
- We have a large personal Anime Collection but one thing I noticed was there wasn't any really great anime stores out there. We would place Pre-Orders just to have the date come and go and have no communication about where our Pre-Orders were. Pre-Orders are placed to make sure you get your item right when it comes before all other orders.
- I opened this store with all my Anime shopping experiences in mind. I decided, Customer Service is number one with Kai Animation. If you Pre-Order something, you're not forgotten about. We've had plenty of customers who are shocked when we return a phone call or an Email. There's no excuse for poor customer service or rudeness. Ask any of our customers and they'll tell you. That's not how we operate. We aren't corporate so there's more opportunities to serve the true Anime Fan and give them exactly what they want.
