I want to say that Julia is a very sophisticated model-type who spends her days wearing fabulous clothes (and shoes, of course fabulous shoes), surrounded by gorgeous hunks of men who want her bad (but whom she politely ignores…so many men, so little time), eating caviar, drinking wine, and riding around the globe in personal jets and expensive autos. I want to say that, but the truth is Julia looks like this, 24/7:

The real Julia London (me) lives in Austin, Texas, with my husband (Louie) and two fat dogs (Hugo and Maude). But since it gets really, really hot in Austin, sometimes we go elsewhere. Here’s all of us together (still in hiking boots) in Taos, New Mexico. Guess which one is Louie? Ha-ha.
