Jointeffects was created in 2002 when no one seemed to have heard of blogs. It was an experiment to see how we might use the internet to deepen connections amongst a group of friends and family by sharing our thoughts and processing here whenever it felt right. Along the way, our circle has expanded to include people we don't know personally, but whose voices begin to sound familiar through their writing. It�s always been a friendly and respectful place, except the time Mary shot a rattlesnake and everyone on the blog went wild.

By the way, there is a rich experience waiting for you in the Archives. You will see that Jointeffects has been a very consistent blog for over three years. It has it's own life force. We sincerely hope it will continue.
