If you're looking for authentic thin crust Italian pizza, that's the specialty of the house at Johnny's. Our pizza is made with a sauce using Pastene Tomatoes, 100% mozzarella cheese and the dough is made fresh right here every day.
Owner Johnny McCafferty brings a long and varied background in the food service business, including an extended stint in the U.S. Marines. Johnny's food service experience ranges from running a hot dog cart, to working as an executive chef in large corporate cafeterias and many things in between. He eventually got into the catering business and prior to opening "Johnny's Pizzeria" he was the owner of D'Amico's Pizza in Lowell, Massachusetts, where he learned the secret of making a really good and authentic Italian style pizza. The previous owner there, Joe D'Amico, used a recipe handed down from a prominent Boston restauranteur. We can't tell you who the recipe comes from but if you know anything about Boston area pizza, one taste of Johnny's pizza and we think you'll know our recipe's heritage!
