- I'm a UK based novelist and my blog is mainly concerned with comments on the arts of writing and reading. I do trespass into the realms of political commentary and look at books, music, theatre and general cultural phenomena.
- I’ve recently completed a novel entitled Winged with Death. It is partly set in Montevideo in the seventies, in the midst of civil war. Another arm of the novel is set in the present day in the North of England. It is a novel about time and tango and revolution, abduction and denial. There is no publication date yet. You can read extracts from my in-print novels at John Baker’s Fiction Pages, together with photographs, interviews, reviews, quotations and biographical info.
