Excerpted from the website description: The JOhio GI Joe Collectors' Club is a local group of collectors who share an online community and have a local presence within the state of Ohio and a few neighboring states. It exists for 3 purposes:
1. Raise awareness and interest in G.I. Joe collecting withing our local community and bring more people into the hobby 2. Help fellow collectors complete and add to their collections through mutual trading and toy hunting 3. Unify local collectors and create local bonds through a common interest in G.I. Joe collecting
The community is free to join, and has no fee's or due's of any kind. We host a local event or function at least once a month, somewhere in the state of Ohio. We are recognized by the Hasbro Sponsored G.I. Joe Collectors' Club as a local division.
We are open to collectors' of all era's and scales, all forms of media and all mythos. Attendance at our functions are open to all collectors' in our area, as is our website, johio.com - So spread the word, and remember, We are the "other" half of the battle!
