- It wants you to stop thinking. It wants you to submit to the reality it creates for you. It wants you to produce, purchase, and consume. It wants you to worry, fear and doubt. It wants you to want. It wants you to need.
- It wants you to be passive, uncritical and resigned to a lifetime of ever-changing needs and insatiable desires. It wants increasing consumption of increasingly less-tangible consumables, while ensuring you are always in debt, constantly sick, always in fear of the next problem to come, totally enslaved by the programmed system of your own mind.
- It wants you to accept the manufactured reality, to accept that it is too complex to understand, and to be dependent on authority to make sense of things for you. To tell you what to do, how to think and feel. To provide for your security, your food, water and shelter, your health - for your very survival.
- It needs you to forget to think, and to ignore your own reality. It needs to program you. To do this, it needs your permission. It needs you, YOU, the conscious 'I' awareness, the critical thinker, the censor, the discriminating part of your mind, to take a break. It needs you to sleep.
